Lovely cafe for brunch or lunch. I felt I was somewhere in the continent, perhaps wishful thinking dreaming of sunny riverside places. It was a bit windy today so we had our brunch inside. Lush views into the garden and fields behind. I had the veggie breakfast without the egg and with a bloody Mary, as you must. My husband had the granola and yoghurt. All delicious and very prompt service.

5 stars all round. A nice and cosy cafe with a large outdoor seating area. The cafe was a bit nestled away and did take a second to see where we had to go. The food was brilliant and the staff were efficient and kind. We had the eggs Benedict and eggs royal which were brilliant. Everything tasted super fresh and the egg yolks were so orange. Definitely recommend and will be coming back.

Fantastic cafe / restaurant, had a DJ playing excellent tunes on Sunday afternoon and we sat on the veranda outside with lovely views of the countryside. Food was top notch; way better than a typical “cafe”

The perfect spot for a sunny lunch with a view. The coffees are rich and flavourful, the burger was juicy, fries were crisp and the salad as fresh as can be, with quality service as you'd expect. Will definitely return for more

A surprise hidden on the bank of the river. We loved the unusual and original different choices on the menu, the great coffee, the very friendly and efficient staff, the absolutely delicious food and the delightful setting. Even on a rainy morning we had the best breakfast, with a steam train across the paddock as a bonus. Very highly recommended.

Found this gem in East Sussex, fabulous cafe/restaurant on the riverside, boats moored alongside. Warm, friendly atmosphere and staff. Love the music background and feel good space. Coffee latte my go to and polenta cake with berries and cream, a real treat.
